Wetherspoon's pub based in an old Edwardian Post Office building. The name is derived from the St. Mary's Church opposite, which had three successive vicars all bearing the name John Scott in the 19th century. There is a large rear courtyard seating area which is a great sun trap in the summer. Third regular ale now made up from one of the following: Adnams Broadside / Sharps Doom Bar / Fullers London Pride
