Set back from the main road, just to the south of the city, this is a big 19th century house converted to a pub at some stage. It comprises a large open plan room with a pool table to the left and a more secluded dining/drinking area to the right-hand side. There is a large garden at the back and bench seating at the front. Up to three real ales are served, including Theakston Summit, which note is an extra chilled (6-8C) pale ale.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
