A modern pub/restaurant that retains a small flagstoned floor area near the bar.
Many fixtures & fittings come from a local church which was demolished.
There's an outdoor drinking & play area. Special events include themed food evenings. A quiz is held every Thursday evening (8-10pm).
The pub may close an hour either side of published times depending on how busy it is.
Historic Interest
Current building dates from 1890s. The pub is recorded as the George & Dragon in the 1901 census. The original George, which had stood for many centuries, burned down at the end of the 19th century.
