A new-build 'Dining and Carvery' pub operating in the Farmhouse Inn brand (Greene King), which opened in July 2016. Located in Adanac Park, just off M271 J1 and near the Holiday Inn Express & Ordnance Survey building. The pub is highly food-focussed with the carvery (11:30-21:00 daily) and has extensive dining areas for different clientele. As well as the outdoor children's play area, there is also a large indoor children's play zone with a dining area next to it, allowing parents to watch their children play from their tables. This family area is cunningly 'round the corner' from the rest of the pub, which allows others to enjoy a more peaceful meal. Al Fresco dining is also available for those who prefer to eat outdoors, when the weather allows. Drinkers can enjoy the bar area or a glass-sided semi-outdoor area with retracting roof. The pub specialises in cakes and ice cream. The generous cake portion sizes mean that you're likely to want to use the pub's 'cakeaway' service! The pub's postcode was new when the pub was built, so may not be available on older Sat Navs, so you might need to use SO16 0XU instead.
