Following an extensive and quality refurbishment in July 2016 this Crown Carvery pub has retained the dart board and pool table in the bar where you can also relax with a drink or a meal. There is also a dedicated restaurant areas and outdoor seating area.

Three handpumps serves Greene King IPA and two other ales, from Adams and other larger breweries.

Excellent value carveries are still served, alongside fresh pizza made on site from 100% fresh dough, burgers, vegetarian options, lighter bites in baguettes, baps wraps and even quesadillas, plus an all you can eat breakfast.

Children welcome and background music was unobtrusive, although there are fruit machines in part of the bar area. There's a large car park and a selection of food, including roasts, to take away.
