Named the local CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2020, the King's Arms has now received this accolade four times in the last five years. This is a community-owned business and also includes a cafe. The beer is served in lined glasses straight from the cask and two or three choices are usually available. Cider is also often on offer. Many community activities take place, from poetry evenings and live music to quiz nights. Details are chalked up on a noticeboard.
