A community local; several sports and pub games teams and regular charity fund-raising events cement this pub into the heart of village life. It is convenient for bus and train services and close to visitor moorings on the Fossdyke, the country’s oldest canal. The lounge bar has old photos of the village. The outside drinking area, partly covered, includes a boules court.
Guest beers often include a local brew, in addition to those sourced nationally.
Pub snacks always available but also regular Pop-up food trucks such as curry, pizza, taco and Thai, see social media for details. Fish and chips from the shop across the road may be consumed with a drink in the outside covered seating area.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
