This is the second "Real Ale Way" to open in Bromley borough, with the doors opening for the first time on September 29, 2021. It operates in a similar manner to its well-known predecessor in Hayes, with up to seven cask ales, almost all of which are sourced from smaller breweries in Kent, dispensed by gravity from a coldroom.
But adding a touch of individuality is the display of pictures by local artists around the walls, some of which are available for purchase. The large windows admit plenty of light, so the pub is rather brighter than the Hayes venue.
Despite the address in Station Road, West Wickham station is about 15 minutes walk away. Buses will get you much closer. Use routes 119 (Bromley North to Purley) or 194 (Lower Sydenham to Croydon via Beckenham and Penge) and alight at Station Road / High Street (194 only) or High Street / Wickham Court Road (119).
This Pub serves 5 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
