Newly built brewhouse and taproom in the centre of Caerphilly town. Beers, listed on a blackboard, are from the adjoining brewhouse plus occasional guest beers from other local breweries and a selection of craft ciders and artisan gins and spirits. The ground floor bar has exposed stonework while wood in various shades adds to the decor. Some old barrels have been used as places to rest your drinks. When fully completed the back of the bar counter will have an array of craft beer dispensers while a pin of whichever real ale is available will be positioned on the bar counter for gravity dispense. There is also a pleasant upstairs room with long tables and a large TV screen for watching sport. This room gives an excellent view overlooking the shiny brewing kit and, once again, the decor features much wood. There is a regular quiz night on Thursdays and live music/open mic on Sunday evenings. The location is close to the imposing Caerphilly castle and local shops, and a near 10 minute uphill walk to/from the transport interchange via White Street. There are also some bus stops on Castle Street.
