A locals' pub in an area with a large student population, the Albany continues to attract a varied clientele through its beer quality, ambiance and range of activities. The public bar is lively, with TVs showing sport, while the lounge bar offers the chance for quiet conversation. The pub holds a twice-weekly poker league night, weekly quiz and karaoke on Saturday nights. It has a covered and heated smoking area, skittle alley and beer garden.
