A busy Wetherspoon shop conversion in the heart of Green Lanes shopping area, opened in 2006, comprising a large open pub area with booths to the side. Six of the ten hand-pumps offer the usual ever-changing range with the manager regularly obtaining beers from the wide list of London breweries. The pub is named after a local First World War soldier who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his heroic action in France in 1918.
