Closed due to economic pressures in late 2022 but the local community took on the lease and re-opened in August 2023, initially for drinks only.

Following Details refer to 2022 status:

A traditional country pub with cosy open fires and a beer garden. A snug bar with inglenook and a single table is on the left and was remodelled in 2021 to create more space. Cosy restaurant with only four tables on right; an upstairs dining room provides more space.

The pub closed in Nov 2022. The Alhampton Community Pub Ltd is registered as a Community Benefit Society and has taken the lease on this pub (which is owned by a local individual).
