A pub since 1806, although the building dates from the 16th century. Was a Courage house until 2007 when purchased by the Miller's Collection and extensively refurbished. Since early 2023 it has passed into the hands of Butcombe Brewery and the snug bar is a showcase for their cask beers. Look out for the low ceiling in the restaurant area; there is a covered well in the middle of the floor. Right on the St. Swithun's Way recreational path.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
