The pub houses a large bar, cosy lounge area and a separate a pool room. Outside is an attractive beer garden and seating area. The generously sized carpark makes this a popular starting point for horse riders wishing to explore the Vale of Belvoir. The pub is also popular with cycling groups touring the Vale. The Anchor has occasional fish & chip evenings, and serves quality cask ale, at least one but sometimes all being from local breweries. Local CAMRA branch Leicestershire POTY 2022.
