So named because it was the arms repository of the 16th (Yeovil) Rifle Volunteer Corps. It is said that powder and ammunition was stored in the cellar. The building was converted to licensed premises, known as the Armoury, in the early 1980's.
A pub just-off the town centre. There is pool, darts and skittle teams plus a strong following of football and rugby on Sky Sports with two big screens and three TV's. Can get very busy at times. Up to four real ales available and even a real cider.
