Situated below the Burlington Hotel (once known as the Midland Hotel) and handily across the road from New Street Station (Stephenson St/North exit). Bacchus is a part of the Mitchells and Butlers Nicholson's brand.
Given it's location, the pub is easily missed. A narrow entry is surrounded by areas of secluded seating, leading to a bar offering up to six real ales (three regular and three changing). To both sides of the bar are more areas of seating, including a dining area with table service - though food can be eaten throughout the pub.
While the beer range is similar to those in the brand, the pub is unusually adorned with old fashioned art work and relics and it almost feels like you are in a cellar. As the bar area is small it can easily get busy. Some craft beers also available on tap.
Live music monthly.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
