This attractive, friendly locals pub dates back to the early 1800s and is located towards the western side of the village. The public bar and lounge are linked in an L-shape around wood-topped and panelled bar counters, and there is a separate darts/games room off the public bar. Steak night Thursday; traditional roasts Sunday; no meals on Mondays or on Sunday evenings. Quiz night Wednesday; occasional live music. Outdoor drinking on large lawn with picnic tables.
