This attractive thatched and timber-framed pub dates from the 15th century and is the focal point of this small rural village. Note also the ancient octagonal wayside cross by the front entrance. There’s a small bar room, a snug to the rear, and a large lounge featuring a number of intimate areas. The sizable garden to the rear features a large pop-up marquee available for functions. Up to four guest ales offer interesting choices, usually including a dark beer.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
