Large terraced pub and eatery with entrances on two streets. It has a spacious open plan interior with separate bar and restaurant areas. There are usually three real ales available, the guest beer is often Otter Ale. Good-value freshly-cooked food, using natural fresh locally sourced ingredients, where possible, is served all day everyday (the pub is open earlier for breakfast before alcohol is served). Regular live entertainment is featured at the weekend (check website for details).
