Modern keg café bar catering to a mixed crowd. Operates more as a late night bar and nightclub than a true pub. Had links to Tahiti Bar (397-401 London Rd) prior to its closure in 9/2023.

Historic Interest

Opened 1/12/1998 in former retail premises. Planning Application J/69785 | Conversion of 2 shops to form wine bar and restaurant including two storey rear extension. Granted 14/8/1998. Originally opened as Brown's, became Boteega Lounge in late 2017. At some point in 2020/2021 it briefly became XS Bar and Lounge, and in late 2022 reverted to the Browns name.
