This traditional local was built in 1905 and retains two drinking rooms and a pool room. The tap room hosts a dart board and TV screens whilst in the lounge old pictures of Braithwell adorn the walls, many depict the annual wheelbarrow race still held in Braithwell and there’s a 1970 picture of the village football team which includes the current landlord, he will gladly point this out if asked. Quiz night is Thursday.
A function room seats up to 50 and hogs are roasted occasionally in the large beer garden during the summer months.
Two hand pumps serving one real ale with the second straight into use when the first runs out. Breweries used include Marstons, Abbeydale & Bradfield
