A local community owned and run pub.
The single bar serves two drinking areas. There is also plenty of seating in the pretty beer garden.
Various music evenings and occasional themed food nights but no TV. Traditional pub games are available including darts, cards and dominoes. Quiz every month (last Saturday).
Local artists' work is on display. There's a wood-burning stove in the restaurant area. Some of the produce used in the kitchen is now being grown by the local community in their own garden.
Nearby (on some of the pub land) a new build local community shop is being run as a separate entity to provide basic groceries for the village.
The pub holds the Cask Marque Award for serving great quality real ale and has a toilet accessible to disabled customers.
AS THIS IS COMMUNITY RUN PUB AND DEPENDS UPON VOLUNTEERS IT MAY BE AN IDEA TO PHONE AND CHECK OPENING TIMES FIRST.
