Large, semi-open plan pub/restaurant in a Grade-II Listed, 16th Century building located opposite Holy Trinity church. The main bar area is L-shaped, surrounding the servery, and traditionally furnished. The building retains some original beams and there is an impressive fireplace by the main bar. There are five handpumps offering a regular beer, up to 3 guests and a cider. A restaurant area is located to the rear and food deals are available at certain times. A quiz is held on Mondays. Occasional events are held throughout the year. On Mondays, cask ales are £2.50 a pint.
