Small family hotel, originally built in the 1850s by the Salwey family. Re-opened after a change of management and two-month refurbishment in August 2014.
The Cliffe describes itself as a 'restaurant with rooms', though this does a disservice to the pleasant central drinking area. The bar/reception desk is flanked by two restaurant areas. Very much a peaceful country feel to the location, yet most of the rooms and the grounds have great views of nearby Ludlow Castle to remind you how close you are to a bustling market town.
In addition to there being one handpump craft ale is normally available on draught and in bottles.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
