Award winning country free house with a traditional bar, real fire and quarry tiled floor. A modern lounge-bar serves only cheese/ham cobs and sausage rolls. The restaurant is open for hot meals at lunchtimes. There is a large garden that is popular in the summer. The former coach house has been in the same family since 1968. Nine real ales are available from national and regional breweries including the on-site Weatheroak Hill Brewery. Fresh rolls are always available. Adjacent to Icknield Street Roman road. Take outs from Weatheroak Hill brewery also available.
