Located at the heart of the town centre close to the main retail area , the pub attracts an eclectic clientele and gets busy on match days. Formerly a hotel, this 19th century listed building is full of character and retains the high ceilings and decorative cornices of that period. A spiral staircase leads down to the lower levels. Local and Regional CAMRA Pub Of The Year 2022.
