It is worth seeking out this down-to-earth thatched pub on the eastern edge of Pewsey. It has an historic interior with an open plan bar and two side rooms. In the winter there is a warming fire. Five ever changing real ales are served, often sourced regionally. There is live music once a month and a quiz on the first Sunday of the month. Accommodation is available with holiday cottages in a separate block at the back. No regular food, but snacks are available plus the odd pop-up kitchen, including Pizza available every other Wednesday. Happy hour every weekday night 5-7pm.
