A large and imposing dining pub which was extensively renovated in 2010. The emphasis is on dining using the large open plan lounge area, and the conservatory. This may not be to everyone's taste as the flooring is boarded making it rather a noisy room. But, despite the emphasis on food, it is pleasing that a separate public bar caters for the needs of drinkers. Outside facilities are impressive. In its time it has been owned, not only by the Wrekin Brewery of Wellington, but also was part of the large local estate of the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery. This is quite a busy dining pub, so it's probably best to book in advance
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
