This Grade II listed building was completely refurbished in a traditional style by new owners in February 2017 and designated as an Ale and Cider House. The Corner House has been transformed to bring you the ultimate live sports experience, 7 days a week, HD screens, from every angle. Every game, every knockout, every score.

The full ten lines are operational now that demand has returned. Five real ciders (1 medium, 1 dry, 1 scrumpy, 1 flavoured - usually seacider or lilleys, 1 perry) and 10 keg lines featuring sours, stouts, lager, pilsner & Pale/IPA. There will always be at least one ale from Big Smoke Brewery in Surbiton. The pub has a collection of vinyl records which are often played and a good selection of traditional pub food is available. Upstairs there is a function room with hand pumps on the bar and seating for up to 80 people. Unusually, there is a small, partly covered, roof-terrace, to cater for smokers, and those wishing to savour the outside atmosphere. Quiz night is Monday.
