A traditional country pub that is well worth finding.
Inside the main entrance is a bar area with a welcoming wood burning stove to greet you in the winter months with much of the inn made over to dining, particularly in the summer and smart accommodation has been added.
It makes the most of its wonderful rural setting, with its raised patio area and a beer garden, frequented by chickens, situated across from the parking area.
Excellent food is served and due to the popularity of the cuisine, booking is advised.
There are usually two or three well kept beers available straight from the cask, typically from the Otter, Teignworthy and Exeter breweries, with others on an occasional basis, sharing stillage space with a choice of local ciders from Sheppey's, Perry's and others.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
