Historic Inn, built in 1540, retaining many of its original features. It is alleged there are hidden tunnels to St Thomas Church and Bowhill House, also ghostly sightings! There is a large garden to enjoy in the warm summer months, and facilities for all types of functions. Freshly prepared food, using local produce where possible, is served lunchtimes and evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday. Traditional roast is available on Sunday between noon and 2.30pm. Three real ales are usually available, and the pub is family and dog friendly.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
