Building is 400 years old and has been a pub for about 200 years. Quite modern refurbishment with a public bar, main bar, lounge and dining room. Holds a beer festival each year in July. Function room available. Close to National Trust - Danbury Common, Danbury Park and Lakes. Towels and bar snacks for dogs. Monthly quiz nights. Popular with ramblers/cyclists.
