Brick building painted in Arkell's creamy house style. Large open-plan bar with separate dining area. Reputation for good food. Meals are served every day they are open with promotional evenings including Burgers on Wednesday, Fish & Chips on Thursday and Pies on Friday. There is also a carvery on Sunday. There is a large garden with wonderful views.

Historic Interest
Mentioned as an Inn in Kelly's Directory of Wiltshire of 1903. Was part of Bowlys estate when it was sold to Simonds of Reading in 1945. Arkell's acquired it 1986 when it was a free house.
