Having been a restaurant for many years it was taken over by the Cambridge Dining Company who reinstated a bar area. Following a refurbishment in early 2016 it reopened with an increased pub area. Although still primarily a fine dining restaurant offering a modern British and European menu it is once again welcoming drinkers.
There are tables out front and a large car-park behind. The interior is impressive throughout with three separate dining areas. The pub room is to the right of the front door. It's real fire, low ceiling and exposed beams are exactly what you'd hope for in a village pub. The ales are gravity fed from jacketed casks behind the wood panelled bar.
