A welcoming stone-built village inn dating from the early sixteenth century, consisting of a main bar and a games room with pool table and dartboard, plus a function room. The pub has its own pool, darts and quiz teams. Local real cider is available on draught and in bottled form. Curries and pizzas are served, together with light bites, cake and hot drinks. Customers may eat fish and chips from the nearby shop, with drinks from the pub, of course. Live music features from time to time.
