Set in the picturesque village of Crayke this pub is now celebrating 20 years under the present owners who have gradually added features to the premises including accommodation, creation of a separate bar area and small shop offering artisan coffee and tea etc to take home. The pub is renowned for its fine dining but remains the village's local providing three real ales. The drinking area is used for bar meals at peak times but also hosts the pub's fine selection of board games. The venue is host to music nights, mainly jazz and folk and various specialist nights ranging from cooking to antiques. The pub boasts some fantastic views of the Hambleton Hills and over the Vale of York.
