Situated in the village of Billinge, built of stone in 1745, this historic building has been a pub for at least 170 years, it had extensive interior refurbishment in 2009. This busy pub has three dining areas, a games room and tap room. It has several large TVs showing sport. A terrific menu is available, pensioners specials on Monday, fish and chip treats on Tuesday and Fridays, Student night is Wednesday, Curries on a Thursday and of course, a Carvery from 12 till 6 on Sundays. Food served 4 till 8 Monday to Wednesday, 12 till 9 Thursday to Saturday. All traditional pub activities including a bowling green which has public access. All major sporting events shown on SKY. Quiz night every Sunday 21.30 Free to enter.
