Historic Interest
Parts of the building date from well before the 17th century. Part of the present building (close to road junction) was once a separate pub called the Pickerel. The part of the building formerly the Bells is now used as a restaurant. Formerly owned by Stewart & Patteson until 1963 - later Watneys & Grand Met. until 1987**. Gianni Baldissin, took over day to day running of the bar in 1976 when his father-in-law still ran the pub. Mr Baldissin subsequently bought pub in 1987 & continued to run it until 2012.
