An old pub, but with a contemporary air about it. The front area, where one can relax with a pint, is furnished with comfy seating and many cushions, and there is a cosy lower area around a large table. To the rear is a room dedicated to dining. Outside is a pleasant garden and covered seating area. Supplementing the London Pride are two Rebellion ales.
Originally the "Brickmakers" it was certainly the "King of Prussia" in 1906 (photo in bar) and in 1917 became the "Emperor of India". Later reverting again to the "King of Prussia" it finally became just "The Emperor" in recent years.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
