Hotel with public bar
The Falcon's Nest Hotel on the south west coast, overlooking the stunning crescent shaped bay, is a free house with two bars. The residents' lounge bar, also open to the public, is in the true tradition of the public house, where visitors can enjoy an ever-changing range of guests and local beers whilst relaxing in front of an open fire. There is a separate restaurant area, and the pub hosts a popular Sunday carvery. Quite separately, but within the building, there is a saloon bar, with more of a sports bar feel. Here there is a games area and multiple TV screens for sport. Whilst the real ales are only available in the lounge area, beers can be taken through to the other section quite freely. The hotel has 39 rooms and a number of apartments, and is fully open to non-residents. Live music usually is on monthly. The sports bar area opens at 6pm during the week. After many years the hotel has installed disabled lavatories and is in the process of altering accesses to the building. It is intended that in due course a lift will be installed. (Phone first for further details confirmation). Note the sports bar has recently undergone a full makeover and is now called The Riddlers Under the Nest Bar - it also now stocks cask ale. The pub is undergoing a substantial and incremental refurbishment at present with the dining area having recently been fully refurbished to a high standard.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
