Cask ale and cider bar / café which opened on 19th December 2015 in the former Pizza Romana premises. Cunningly named after the flipping of crêpes (pancakes) and the French couple who originally ran it. Allegedly the inspiration for this venture came from drinking in the nearby Man of Kent. In summer of 2020 the owners of the nearby Dead Pigeon pub took over this venue and for a while the venue operated as "The Dead Pigeon Collection Point" for take-away food collections and to supply the Dead Pigeon pub further along the High Street.
In July 2022 it partially re-opened using the rear outdoor area whilst the inside is being refurbished. Live music and food may be available when open. At this stage no cask ale was being sold but reports have been received that latterly one handpumped cask ale is now being sold here in addition to 6 keg beers dispensed from wall taps behind the bar counter.
Advertised as re-opening on Friday 12th May 2023.
