A stone built inn at the heart of the village, the pub has many features including an impressive stone fireplace in the dining room, which is furnished with lovely old wardrobes to hold linens and cutlery. The stone-flagged bar area is cosy with scrubbed tables, exposed beams and an open fireplace. Outside is a spacious beer garden. The pub has restricted opening hours in the winter, but is open all week in the summer. As well as having a very popular restaurant they also offer Fish & Chip takeaways.
