Large 2 floored Victorian pub that became a Wetherspoon free house in April 92 dropping the 'Hotel' from its name. The pub has two bars but upstairs there is no real ale. Twelve hand pumps downstairs dispense the regular Wetherspoon’s ales and eight guests, which sell quickly at the weekends. Food is served until 11pm and there are three beer festivals during the year. Photographs of famous Georges adorn the upper walls with a dragon above the bar and a dragon chair reflecting the pubs original name, the George & Dragon. There is a smoking area and car park at the rear of the pub.
This Pub serves 8 changing beers and 4 regular beers.
