The pub reopened as 'The Goat' on 15 July 2019. The following is its historical description. Please take all details for this pub with a pinch of salt until such time as one of our volunteers has had a chance to re-survey it.
Children can go and play in the very large garden with climbing frame and an area for smaller children. Bus service is sparse - once a day Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday only, plus a school bus.
Carvery Wednesday and Sunday, otherwise a fairly wide range of pub food with specials.
Hours shown are from the pub's website November 2023. Open Sunday hours on bank holidays (inc BH Mondays). Closing time is not quoted so may close earlier depending on trade. Can get exceptionally busy at weekends when the weather is good.
