The Great Stone is in a quiet residential area of Northfield, right opposite the parish church. You could be convinced you were in a village! As it has been here for hundreds of years, it is a traditional pub with a fantastic beer garden. The pub is of an intimate size and there is good pub grub on offer. Quiz night every Tues 9pm.

Historic Interest

Pub dates to the 18th century and named for the glacial erratic boulder that was formerly sited at the corner of Church Road and Church Hill
