Opened in July 2018, this small and comfortable single room bar close to the village centre was formerly the William Hudson & Son butcher's shop. There are references to the previous use everywhere including a tiled wall now covered with pump clips, stainless steel tables and numerous photographs and memorabilia. A varying range of real ales, usually including beers from the Kirkby Lonsdale brewery, is offered from the three hand-pulls. Pies are also sold in recognition of bar's former use. No cards - cash only. Closing times may vary depending upon the demand.
