This multi level building is one of the oldest pubs in Marlborough. It has a bar and front room at street level and smaller rooms and dining areas at lower levels at the back. There is a large secluded garden at the rear for 'al fresco' drinking in the summer. All the real ales are from Wadworth. Open for breakfast onwards everyday with drinks from 10am. The food features ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Upstairs there are five recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms.
Historic Interest
This Grade II listed building was built after the great fire of Marlborough in 1653.
