Accredited for beer quality 2022
This is an old, town centre, traditional pub which takes real ale seriously. Cosy three-roomed layout, the bar having a shelf of interesting books. There is a back room at a slightly lower level which hosts regular music events. And the Snug really is snug! The licensee is from the Black Country and sources a variety of quality well kept ales. Note the sculptural installation above the door. This is entitled ‘Were in no hurry’ and was conjured up by a local artist as an original new pub sign.
