Reopened October 2019 after a 4-year renovation. A typical, stone-built, village pub now with fine dining and 10 posh rooms to let. A late 17th century house with a 19th century extension, the pub name was recorded in 1775. While it has been closed the bus service has been withdrawn. Also has a shop and deli open during the day. Opens at 7am (8 Sundays) for breakfast.
