The pub re-opened in January 2012 following closure and a full renovation to provide a warm and friendly welcome with cosy nooks and multiple fireplaces. Comfortable seating including leather sofas for relaxing and more formal tables for dining are provided. There is a large car park and children's play area outside. The house is freehold and the landlord stocks guest ales from local breweries. Music plays once every three weeks including live bands, discos, karaoke and acoustic sets. Steak night Thursday, Fish and Chips Friday.
